Our Intimate Wedding Dinner
To kick off our wedding celebrations, we're hosting a special, intimate dinner exclusively for our closest family (that's you!) on the eve of the party. This dinner is separate from the party the following day, giving us a chance to spend some quality time together.
We've chosen the wonderful Dane & Port in Westbourne – a highly-rated, independent, family-run gem known for its absolutely incredible 100% vegan and gluten-free food.

Accommodation & Transport
Westbourne is a charming area of Bournemouth, close to the beach and town centre, with plenty of accommodation options. As our wedding events are in August (peak season), we recommend booking early.
The dinner venue is only a 2-minute walk from Camden Bar (where the party is the next day), so these suggestions work well for both events.

- Harbour Heights Hotel – Stylish rooms with panoramic views over Poole Harbour.
Mid-Range
- Riviera Hotel – Comfortable rooms in Alum Chine, with pools and a spa.
- West Cliff Hotel – A modern hotel near Westbourne with a spa and good facilities.
Budget
- Premier Inn Bournemouth Westbourne
- Travelodge Bournemouth – Basic but comfortable, a short distance from Westbourne.
Transport: Westbourne is well-connected by bus and taxi, and most hotels offer parking. Bournemouth Train Station is a short drive away.

The dinner is in Westbourne, just a 2-minute walk from Camden Bar (the party venue). The same parking suggestions work well: there is paid parking next to The Libertine at Alumhurst Road Car Park. Alternatively, you can park for free on Grosvenor Road or Marlborough Road after 6pm – just a 5 to 10 minute walk away.
